Series of talks about Heimat
Is this still|already my country?

Concept: Under the title »Is this still|already my country?«, PEN Berlin is organising a series of talks in February/March: 41 events across Baden-Württemberg and Rhineland-Palatinate, from Konstanz to Koblenz, from Bitburg to Freiburg. In August/September, the second part of the series will follow in Saxony-Anhalt, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Berlin, as was the case with our widely noted event series in the run-up to the state elections in late summer 2024 in Saxony, Thuringia, and Brandenburg, and as with our public gathering in September in Klütz (Mecklenburg), the audience is explicitly invited to take part in the discussion. More than that: the audience is an integral part of the concept. It is not meant to listen reverently to the speakers only to ask two or three hurried questions at the end, but is invited to speak up − together with the panel, and with one another. MORE
