Haftbefehl gegen PEN-Berlin-Sprecher Deniz Yücel

Ein Istanbuler Gericht hat heute Haftbefehl gegen den Co-Sprecher des PEN Berlin, Deniz Yücel, erlassen. Jenseits von verfahrenstechnischen Hintergründen besteht der Skandal darin, dass dieses Prozess wegen »Verunglimpfung des türkischen Staates und der türkischen Nation« sowie wegen »Beleidigung des Staatspräsidenten« überhaupt eröffnet wurde. Gestern wurden die Moskauer Regisseurin Yevgenia Berkovich und die Dramatikerin Svetlana Petriychuk festgenommen. Berkovich ist eine zentrale Figur der alternativen und widerständigen Literaturszene in Moskau und Russland. Sie hat sich gegen das Exil und für den Kampf um ein demokratisches Russland entschieden, und deswegen wird sie unter einem Vorwand drangsaliert. MEHR
